Pattern instructions
Mitten
Starting at tip of fingers, ch 4, join with sl st to form ring.
10 sc in ring.
* 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around.
Sc in each sc around.
* 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 2 sc. Repeat from * around.
* 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 3 sc. Repeat from * around.
* 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 4 sc. Repeat from * around.
* 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 5 sc. Repeat from * around. Try mitten on and, if too small, add a few more increase rnds. Then work straight until piece measures 3½ inches in all.
Ch 3, dc in next sc, * ch 1, skip 1 sc, dc in each of next 2 sc. Repeat from * around. Join last ch-1 with sl st to 3rd st of ch-3 first made.
Ch 3, dc in each dc and in each ch around. Join with sl st. Repeat the last 2 rnds alternately until 3 rnds of sps are made.
Sc in each dc and in each ch around. Join.
Sc in each sc around. Join. Repeat the last rnd for ¾ inch. Join. Break off. Run ribbon through 1st row of sps and tie. Make another same as this.
