Tassels
Cut a cardboard 3 inches wide and 5 inches long. Cut 2 strands of thread, each 10 inches long, and place them across length of cardboard. Then wind 1 strand of thread around width of cardboard about 64 times. Break off. Pick up both ends of the 10-inch strands, and tie securely. Remove cardboard, and cut loops at one end. Tie a strand of thread tightly ½ inch from top, and fasten securely. Sew a tassel to each inner point around outer edges of runner. Trim ends evenly, so that fringe is in line with outer points of shell motifs.
Chair Back
Make 20 shell motifs, and 12 lacy motifs, as for Runner 7166-A, joining them at adjacent sides as in illustration, in same manner as motifs of Runner were joined. Make 4 tassels as for Runner 7166-A, and sew 1 tassel to each inner point of lower edge of chair back.
Arm Pieces
