2nd rnd: SI stinsp, ch 4 (to count as tr), 3trin same sp, holding back on hook the last loop of each tr; thread over and draw through allloops on hook (a cluster). * Ch 5, 4trin next sp, holding back the last loop of eachtron hook and complete a cluster as before. Repeat from * around, joining last ch-5 to tip of Ist cluster made.

3rd rnd: *Scinnext sp; (ch4,scinsame sp) twice, ch 4. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, d cin Ist sc made (24 loops).

4th and 5th rnds: * Ch4,scin next loop. Repeat from * around, ending withch2,dcind c.

6thrnd: Same as 5th rnd, making ch-5 instead of ch-4 loops.

7thrnd: * Ch5,2scinnextloop, ch 10, skip next loop, 2scinnext loop. (Ch5,scinnext loop) 3 times. Repeat from * around, ending rnd as before.

8thrnd: *Ch5,2scinnextloop, ch 3. Inch-10 loop make: 5sc,ch4(forap),3sc,ch4and5sc.Ch3,2scin next loop; (ch 5,s cinnext loop) twice. Repeat from * around, ending as before.
