Open House Tablecloth Pattern #7300

BLOCK... Starting at center, ch 11, trin 11th ch from hook. Now work inrnds as follows:

Ist rnd: Ch 4, 3 tr over bar of last tr, trin same ch where first tr of ring was made, ch 7, tr insame place as last tr, 3 trinring, trin 4th ch of ring, ch 7, trinsame place as last tr, 3 trin ring (under next 3 ch of ring). Trinnext ch, ch 7, trin same place as last tr, 3 trin ring, trin Ist tr made at base of ch-4. Ch7, sl st in 4th ch of ch-4 first made.

2nd rnd: Ch/, * skip 3 tr, trin next tr, 3 trin corner sp. In 4th ch of corner ch-7 make tr, ch 7 and tr; 3 tr insame corner sp, trinnext tr, ch 3. Repeat from * around, ending with 3 trin corner sp, slstin 4th ch of ch-7.

3rd rnd: Ch7,* trinnext 5tr, 3 trin corner sp. In 4th st of corner ch-7 make tr, ch 7 and tr; 3 trin same corner sp, trin next 5 tr, ch 3. Repeat from * around; join.

4th rnd: Ch 7, * trinnext 9 tr(2 bls made); 3 trin corner sp. In 4th st of corner ch-7 make tr, ch 7 andtr; 5 trin same corner sp; tr innext 9 tr, ch 3. Repeat from * around: join.

Starting at 5th rnd (indicated by "X" on chart), follow chart until block is completed. Fasten off.

Make 3x4 blocks, and sew them together on wrong side with neat over-and-over stitches.

EDGING. ... Ist rnd: Attach thread to atr, ch 4, and work tr in each tr; inthe sos make 2 trand 3 tr, alternately. Work corners same as corners of last rnd of block. Join with sl st.

2nd and 3rdrnds: Ch 4, trin each tr around, making corners as for Ist rnd. Fasten off. Block cloth to

measurements given.
