Starting at bottom of chart, ch 41 (14 ch sts to 1 inch).
Dc in 8th ch from hook (sp made), * ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch (another sp made). Repeat from * across (12 sps in all). Ch 7, turn.
Dc in 1st dc, ch 2, dc in next dc (sp made over sp). Make 2 more sps, 2 dc in next sp, dc in next dc (bl made over sp). Make 5 more bls, 2 sps, then ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch, ch 5, dc in same place as last dc (sp increased at each end of row). Turn.
Sl st in next 3 ch, ch 7, dc in same place as last sl st, work 2 more sps, 2 bls, dc in next 3 dc (bl made over bl). Work 7 more bls, 2 sps, then ch 5, dc in same place as last dc. Turn (another sp increased at each end of row).
Inc 1 sp, work 2 more sps, 4 bls, ch 2, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc (sp made over bl). Make 3 more sps, 4 bls, 2 sps, inc 1 sp.
Follow chart, increasing 1 sp at each end of each row. Turn.
Inc 1 sp, work 3 more sps, 2 bls, 2 sps, 3 bls, ch 3, skip 2 dc, sc in next dc, ch 3, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc (lacet made), then work 3 bls, 2 sps, 2 bls, 3 sps, inc 1 sp. Turn.
Inc 1 sp, work 4 more sps, 2 bls, 1 sp, 3 bls, 1 sp, ch 5, dc in next dc (bar made over lacet), then work 1 sp, 3 bls, 1 sp, 2 bls, 4 sps, inc 1 sp. Turn.
Inc 1 sp, work 5 more sps, 2 bls, 1 sp, 2 bls, ch 5, skip 3 dc and 1 sp, work dc in next dc (bar made), ch 3, skip 2 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, dc in next dc (lacet made over bar), ch 5, skip 1 sp and 3 dc, dc in next dc (another bar made). Work 2 bls, 1 sp, 2 bls, 5 sps, inc 1 sp.
Starting with 10th row, follow chart to 50th row incl. Turn.
Sl st in next 3 ch, ch 5, dc in next dc (no sp increased), work 1 more sp, then follow chart across, ending with dc in 5th st of turning chain (no inc). Ch 5, turn.
Follow chart. Do not ch to turn at end of 61st row.
Sl st in next 2 ch and in next dc, ch 5, dc in next dc (sp decreased at beginning of row). Continue to follow chart to end of row. Turn.
Starting with 63rd row, follow chart to top, thus decreasing 1 sp at each end of each row. Do not break off, but work a row of sc all around, keeping work flat. Fasten off.
Starch lightly and press.
