Table Pads Pattern
Easy Hook Size F or 4 Table Pad
Circular crochet table pads for use under hot plates, lamps and vases, approximately 10 inches, in Kentucky All Purpose Yarn. Originally published in Rugs, Sweaters, Pot Holders, Lamp Shades, Book No. 107.

Pattern instructions
Table Pad
Foundation
Using single thread make a ch of 4 stitches (sts) and join with a sl st.
Row 1
Make 12 sc in the ring.
Row 2
Sc around, inc (2 sc) in every 2nd st.
Row 3
Sc around, inc (2 sc) in every 3rd st.
Row 4
Sc around, inc (2 sc) in every 4th st.
Row 5
Continue working sc until you have 21 rows, increasing progressively in same manner.
Slip stitch round
Work slip stitch (st) around, using only back loop of previous row.
Next row
Sc around, increasing as before, but using only back loop of previous slip stitch.
Finish
Repeat sl st as before. Fasten off.
