Dc in 8th ch from hook, dc in next 3 ch—1 sp and 1 bl made; * (ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch) 3 times; dc in next 3 ch—3 sps and 1 bl made. Repeat from * 26 more times, ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 3, turn.
* 2 dc in next sp, dc in next dc—bl made over sp; dc in next 3 dc—bl made over bl, make a bl over next sp, ch 2, dc in next dc—sp made over sp. Repeat from * across, ending row with 3 bls. Ch 5, turn.
Skip 2 dc, dc in next dc—sp made over bl; dc in next 6 dc; make bl over next sp, bl over next bl, * ch 2, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc—another sp made over bl. 3 bls. Repeat from * 24 more times, 1 sp, 4 bls, 1 sp. Ch 5, turn.
2 sps, 2 bls, (3 sps, 1 bl) 25 times; 3 sps, 2 bls, 2 sps. Ch 5, turn.
1 sp, 2 bls, 105 sps, 2 bls, 1 sp. Ch 3, turn.
2 bls, 6 sps, * ch 3, sc in next dc, ch 3, dc in next dc—lacet made. Repeat from * 47 more times, 5 sps, 2 bls.
1 sp, 2 bls, 4 sps, * ch 5, skip the ch-3, the sc and the ch-3; dc in next dc—a bar made. Repeat from * 47 more times, 5 sps, 2 bls, 1 sp. Ch 5, turn.
2 sps, 2 bls, 4 sps, * ch 3, skip 2 ch of bar, sc in next ch, ch 3, dc in next dc—lacet made over bar. Repeat from * 47 more times; 3 sps, 2 bls, 2 sps. Ch 5, turn. Starting with 9th row (working in direction indicated by arrow), follow chart to top. Fasten off.

Starting at bottom, make a chain about 13 inches long (21 ch sts to 1 inch).
Dc in 8th ch from hook, dc in next 3 ch—1 sp and 1 bl made; * (ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch) 3 times; dc in next 3 ch—3 sps and 1 bl made. Repeat from * 13 more times, ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch. Cut off remaining ch. Ch 3, turn. Hereafter follow chart for arm piece to top. Fasten off.
Davenport Set Back
DAVENPORT SET—No. 7373-B
Starting at bottom make a chain about 35 inches long (21 ch sts to 1 inch).
Dc in 8th ch from hook, dc in next 3 ch—1 sp and 1 bl made; * (ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch) 3 times; dc in next 3 ch—3 sps and 1 bl made. Repeat from * 50 more times, ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch. Cut off remaining ch. Ch 3, turn.
Follow chart for chair back, working from A to B; then, to complete row, work from C to D.
Follow chart for chair back, working from D to C, then from B to A. Continue to follow chart, working even rows as for 2nd row and odd rows as for 3rd row. Fasten off.
